How to Share Songs Between iPhones

Method 1: Transfer Songs from iPhone to iPhone via AirDrop

Step 1. Log in the same Apple ID on the target iPhone.

Step 2. Open the "Settings" app and tap "Music".

Step 3. Enable "Show Apple Music" and "iCloud Music Library".

Step 4. Now, songs will be automatically downloaded from iCloud to the target iPhone.

Step 5. Tap "Music" app and select "Library". Then check out and enjoy songs in "Downloaded Music".

Note that the download time may vary depending on your network. Also you can use it to share songs on iTunes on a Mac or PC, which offers an easy way to transfer your collection to/from your Mac/PC.

Method 4: Transfer Music from iPhone to iPhone by Home Sharing

Home Sharing is a way to let you easily share your iTunes media libraries among up to five computers in your household, as well as extend playback to your iOS devices and Apple TV (2nd generation) on your home Wi-Fi network.

Steps to Use Home Sharing on iPhone

Step 1. Navigate to "Settings" > "Music" option.

Step 2. Scroll down to the button. Tap "Sign in" under the heading named "Home Sharing".

Step 3. Enter your Apple ID and password, and then use the same Apple ID for another iPhone on your Home Sharing network.

Step 4. Open the "Music" app on target iPhone.

Step 5. Tap "Library" and then tap "Home Sharing".

Note that if you don't see "Home Sharing", please tap "Edit", select "Home Sharing", tap "Done", then tap "Home Sharing".

Step 6. Now, you can use Home Sharing on your iPhone in the Music app. Start enjoying yourself by choosing a shared Library.

Generally speaking, it takes a few minutes for the music library to load into the iPhone, but you can now stream music from one iPhone to another. However, this method will not permanently copy the music from one iPhone to another. Also, it only works when both iPhones are connected over the same Wi-Fi network.
